ABOUT
My name is Rita, I was born in 1990 in Ferrol, a coastal city in northern Spain. I am a multidisciplinary designer, art director and photographer.
My path began studying Classical Mythology and Fine Arts at one of the most emblematic and beautiful universities in Spain, the University of Salamanca. It was through the films of Kiarostami and Jim Jarmusch that I discovered my passion for telling stories through images, which led me to study the Master of Photography at the Blank Paper School in Madrid, where I had the opportunity to come into contact with authors such as Alberto García Alix, Fosi Vegue or Ricardo Cases, among others.
The creation of photobooks taught me that not only ideas or emotions are transmitted through images, but also that design, layout, colours, white spaces and typographic games are a decisive part of visual communication, in the intentionality of our message. That's why I trained in Editorial and Graphic Design at LCI and Elisava, Barcelona.
I currently live and work between Spain and Morocco helping different companies and other individuals to develop their visual identity.
WHAT DO I DO ?
My training in Fine Arts and Photography means that the projects I carry out are characterised by a very special artistic vision, I delve into each proposal, getting to its essence, analysing the particularities that make it unique and revealing them to the outside world in an enveloping way, almost as if it were a film. Every brand has a story, that's why I like to be by the side of those who have the talent to create, to build, to invent?
I listen, analyse and identify the smallest detail, to make each subject a unique case in order to build together a positioning, an identity, a storytelling and a strategy that are uniquely theirs.
